I have the other two books in the series (Fresh Food Fast and Fresh Food Fast: Weeknight Meals) and I love them. They are my go to cookbooks and a generally cook at least one meal a week from them. Naturally, I purchased Fresh Food Superfast, thinking that it would be just as good as the others but there's only about 5 recipes that even caught my eye. I actually got nauseated as I flipped through the book.
I'm all for trying new foods and flavor combinations. I have no problem mixing fruit with meat with cheese, and other combinations that a more reserved cook might not be into. But there are just way too many wacky combinations for me. Nothing looked appealing. Everything in the book is either way too boring or way too obscure.
I guess what I am trying to say is this:
1.) The recipes in this book do not go from grocery bag to table faster than those in the other series.
2.) The other books are way better.
Therefore, you should buy the other books!
