I would normally wait until I had cooked more from a cookbook to write a review, but since there are no other reviews I decided to write one and update it later, to help others who are deciding whether or not to get it.
The cookbook is organized well and I really like how it tells you what order to cook the dishes, what you can prepare ahead, and what guests could bring to accompany the meal. Each menu has a nice picture of at least one (and often more) of the recipes. It keeps you from feeling stressed and will help everything run more smoothly on the day of entertaining.
I haven't been that fond of Vegetarian Times recipes in general, (although I have had a few really good ones), so I am not sure how well the recipes hold up. I have tried only the Asparagus and Mushroom Risotto and the White Beans with Sun Dried Tomatoes. Both were bad in that they were quite bland. But there are so many other recipes in this book that I don't feel I should give it a bad rating until I try a few more. I hope this review helps someone out there decide whether or not to buy this book!
Will update more later.
