(More customer reviews)When I received the product I was shocked to find the cap was not vacuum sealed. The description the seller gave on Amazon.com conveniently omits the fact that the bottle is cold filled. A cold-filled product must be shipped in a cooler with dry ice and immediatly refrigerated upon arrival in order to remain safe for ingestion. However, this product arrived in a regular cardboard box with bubble wrap. The information accompanying the product indicates the product is pasteurised, but that the product is cold filled. Without the sterile seal resulting from hot filling the bottle, bacteria and parasites will get in. Therefore, the pasteurisation is pretty much useless. Ingesting this product is risky, if not dangerous. When purchasing a tart cherry concentrate, be sure the product has been properly bottled. If I had only done a little more research on 'The Breath of Life' company, I wouldn't have wasted $21 + S&H on a product I ultimately had to pour down the drain.
