i was trying to just take one pill a day, instead of 4 to 6 pills a day of the lower mg cranberry pills.
my bottle has an asterisk right after the 1680 mg on the front label. on the supplement facts on the back of the label it says "... *(from 12:1 concentrate, equivalent of 1680 mg of fresh cranberries)"...."cranberry concentrate 140mg".
what i think this means is that each pill actually contains only 140mg (NOT 1680mg as stated on front label) of cranberry concentrate, which is equivalent to 1680 mg of fresh cranberries!
quite a bit misleading if you ask me.
oh well, live and learn.
i will finish my three bottles, but will seek out a true 1000mg or 500mg concentrate pill for future purchase. buy these only if you don't mind taking 4-6 pills a day!
so, 1 star for label being totally misleading...pills only contain 140mg of concentrate.
however, cranberry concentrate does wonders for preventing urinary tract infections!
