(More customer reviews)I expected something that runs on a couple AA batteries to be a bit underpowered, but this does a good job of mixing powdered drinks. It's also easy to clean. A hand-held blender does a better job, but has to be plugged in to work, and cords are a hassle when you're in a hurry. This mixer is small and handy and self-contained.
I give it four stars rather than five because I wish it were two or three inches longer, which would give me a little more confidence using it to mix deeper drinks -- I'm scared to get the battery/motor pack wet. It requires a bit of dexterity to mix drinks in taller glasses with it. But even when the mixer paddle doesn't reach all the way to the bottom of the glass, the drinks are still thoroughly mixed.
