(More customer reviews)I have never been a "protein shake" guy considering my lack of affinity for milk AND chocolate. I just hate that full and bloated feeling that many of the MRPs and whey-protein-blend based protein shakes give. For one who has tried quite a few brands of whey concentrates and isolates (ON, Optimum, EAS etc.), this is quite a pleasant change. The label reads "Bottled Detonation" and for a post workout drink, thats exactly what it is! I have always been a fan of Isopure Zero Carb anyways!
For starters, it just doesn't feel like you are having a protein drink. It feels more like u r having a fruit punch. It just slides down ur throat and for the past couple of days, I have been having it with breakfast just like u have orange (or any other) juice. I have tried alpine punch and apple melon flavors till now and both are really good. There are plenty of those milk-based protein shakes around but these are rare. These must be made for me!

Hard to find in stores and online. Price seems a bit high on amazon now. I'll order it if/when they lower it to less than what it costs full retail per each can.

* Doesn't make you jittery at all, just feel more "awake"
* Sometimes I'm not sure if it's doing anything, but I always get at least twice as much done on days when I do take it. Coincidence? I think not.
Taste:
* Low calorie while almost tasting "full" calorie
* Doesn't make you gag like 5-Hour Energy drink (which I think tastes like cough syrup)
* Tastier than the Low Cal Wild Berry flavor

Thanks to Amazon.com this is no longer a problem, and I can continue to enjoy the healthful, energy restoring benefits of Magma Plus as I age gracefully. I'm in my early sixtys and take it once a day in the morning. I can't explain why it works, but it does what it says it can do. It restores a more youthful energy level; more specifically, my muscles are more responsive during exercise: either running or swimming.

(More customer reviews)I personally am a connoisseur of energy drinks. I rely on caffeine for most of my projects at school and for late night coding sessions as well as marathon gaming. Although energy drinks can be considered a crutch, it's a lifestyle decision that many, many people embrace rather than attempt to avoid... I am one of these people.
That said, Guru Energy is fairly cheap ($1.25USD/can) if you buy it here off Amazon, it comes in the Redbull standard 8.3 fl/oz cans, and is shipped in a suprisingly lightweight and compact case (compare this to Monster, Rockstar, or any other brand with standard 16 fl/oz cans).
The taste, like Guru's website describes, is very indescribable. It is very sharp and light with a medium amount of carbonation. The caffeine buzz is more "natural"... it has more of an upslope and downslope rather than a sudden cracked out (which is arguably awesome too in its own respect) then big crash sort of feeling. This is because the caffeine in Guru is derived from 125mg of Guaranine (Guarana Herb) rather than synthetically separated then added. There is no mention about how much of the 125mg of Guaranine is real caffeine, but since Red Bull checks in at 80mg / 8.3oz it seems that Guru is in pretty good shape.
I think a particular good feature of Guru is that it uses cane sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup. I appriciate a good quality soda, particularly microbrew colas, and they often exclusively contain cane sugar.
So in summary, this energy drink is farily cheap, good buzz, all natural, and great for coding, gaming, or studying.

(More customer reviews)For all you "label freaks" like myself-Guru Lite is the best "energy drink" on the market (I just wish it was twice the size). The fact that it contains Stevia-over nasty sweeteners such as Aspartame or Splenda is a Huge plus (not counting all the other garbage thrown in those other drinks.) The taste is definitely an aquired one. But for a guy who was downing 3 Sugar free Monsters per day (and my liver enzyme count showed it)...Guru lite has been the perfect replacement...(and my enzymes are back down to normal!!) Let that be a warning to those of you energy drink junkies slamming down 2-3 drinks per day.
Overall-Guru Lite is a great product-and while I love the taste of regular Guru, I'll take the 10 calories and no sugar versus 100 calories and 25 grams with the regular.

(More customer reviews)I was doubtful about this product but I must say it delivers and is delicious. I get the low cal orange concentrate and it tastes so much better than real orange juice and much better for you. I got my husband on it who is a couch potato and overweight and the man actually began to get off his one spot and DO something around this place. (Now losing weight!) For that alone I have begun to go to my knees before the bottle each morning and give high praise. That being said, I feel the price is much too high, goes too fast when 2 people are using it, and it's definitely hard to get. To buy it here you have to order two weeks before you need it because the shipping is so slow they must have to produce it, bottle it then ship out by mule. I've tried to find it thru web search but the only other place to get it is thru the FRS website and ONLY if you sign up for auto ship, which I am always hesitant to do but I guess I have no choice if I want it in a timely manner. In short, if you're patient, you invested in gold when it was $100 an ounce, this is definitely the product of choice. Now I'm off to sell more blood so I can reorder.

(More customer reviews)I'm not an energy drink junkie, mainly due to the cost and taste. I normally use it when I know I'm not going to be able to get a meal or need a little pick me up during the day. I may consue 2-3 a month. Not as much as a buzz as the 5 hour energy drink, but enough for me.
Of all the monster drinks i have tried I really enjoy the M-80 and Khaos. Both have fruit juice combined with them. The M-80 contains 80% juice and the Khaos is 50% juice. Both are less than 100 calories per serving. Enjoy.

(More customer reviews)i drink the acai juice every day and was looking for something to add to my water. this stuff is supposed to be great for you. i have noticed a decrease in my aches and pains and also, i have alot more energy. enough of the acai, as for this powder, i love it. this is the third time i am getting it. i used to by crystal light and lipton mixes to add to my water, but this is better. it is natural and you do get an energy buzz after you drink it. you don't feel gittery but you know you have more energy plus, it is supposed to be great for you. it is very tasty and if you are looking for something to spice up that plain water, this is it. i know it is pricey, but the health benefits are worth it.

(More customer reviews)The only other reviewer of the product actually rated the Seller, not the Vemma itself. Although Vemma has an acquired taste, I mixed it in with my fruit juices. When I drink it regularly, I think it helps my skin look better. I'm not saying Vemma will do the same for everybody else; I'm just saying what it does for me. Maybe it's the vitamin C and vitamin E in it, both of which promote healing.
