(More customer reviews)I've been taking this product in both powder and juice form for several months now, and found it to help me with my arthritis in the joints of my fingers. First I tried eating bottled Nopales from the grocery store, but I didn't see any difference in my condition. (The Nopales in the bottles were slimy, and no one in my family would eat them for that reason except for me.) However the dehydrated powder was very helpful, and I assume it was due to the higher amount of anti-oxidants and nutrients that I took in with dehydrated powder versus store bought Nopales. I also read that it would take many pounds of fresh Nopales to end up with a single pound of dehydrated powder, and with that in mind, I think the price is good. I agree with one critic, however, that the flavor of nopal powder isn't as good as fresh nopales, but when it's mixed in juice, it's really not bad. Besides I'm not taking the powder because it tastes good, but for the better health I feel when I do. I haven't tried buying the Nopal powder in pill form, but I assume it's the same stuff. If that's the case, it's cheaper to buy it in the bag, and easier to sprinkle a tablespoon in my juice than having to swallow ten pills. I recommend this product and the seller too. P.S. I like the Nopal Powder sprinkled on my pasta for dinner, and scrambled into my eggs with hot sauce and cheese for breakfast. Yum Yum! Enjoy!
