Experience as a professional chef has taught me many things. One of them is that it is rare to find professional calliber recipes in a book easily available to the general public. If you are a lover of fine foods this book will supply you with a myriad of useful recipes from Inns that have proven their success by these very foods.I have seen many hundreds of cookbooks very few become my faavorites. When I am looking for a quick delicious recipe to impress company or feed my own hungry mob I invariably find that this book is in my hands. I have not had a recipe failure as yet. A truly rare and exceptional cookbook.(You may wish to buy more than one if you can afford because mine is alas being coveted by friends and beginning to wear out from use)

If Teapots Could Talk: Fun Ideas For Tea Parties Review

If Teapots Could Talk: Fun Ideas For Tea Parties

If Teapots Could Talk: Fun Ideas for Tea Parties proved to be a great source for me. My church based our fall fundraiser on well set tables. I chose a tea party for Mother's Day as my theme, used ideas set forth in the book, decorations, food and more. It was a fantastic hit, looked beautiful, and made my guests at my table comfortable, happy, and really got in the mood. I am so glad I looked for a book with an outline to help me get this party defined for a very enjoyable and profitable time.

The Magic Teaspoon Review

The Magic Teaspoon
Average Reviews:

Vicky Zak is one of the most thoughtful writers and innovators in the nutrition field, starting with the Fat to Muscle Diet,( a classic diet bible) and more recently with The Ten THousand Secrets of Tea, perhaps the definitive guide to healing herbal teas. With the Magic Teaspoon she continues to explore nature's medicine chest, packing useable knowledge and fascinating lore on every page. Her descriptions of the herbs are beautifully written,(Part I) and I was captivated by the recipes( PARt II). Garlic Whammo (page 130)pulled me out of persistant case of doldroms after a bad case of the flu. Who would have thought that a little innocuous garnish had such power? Most books on diet and nutrition contain lots of empty carbohydrates. Victoria Zak packs protein.
