(More customer reviews)My digestive system would go from one extreme to the other. My doc put me on an acid reducer and while it helped the acid, it also played havoc with my system. I ask him about this and he said give it a try. Wow, what a difference after a week or two! I have been taking this daily now for about 2 years and couldn't be more pleased with the product. This whole herb product seems to work better for me than other variations such as aloe gel caps to keep things in balance. This works so well especially for the price so I stick with this brand and formula.

(More customer reviews)I totally love this stuff. It's a nice thick gel that makes a fantastic face mask. They process it with rose water, so it has a slight rose smell. I bought it because I was having an aloe vera obsession and wanted one that was as pure as possible. I actually left it in the refrigerator for maybe a year, because I couldn't think of a use for it, and then recently I thought I'd just use it as a face cleanser because every face wash I look at has ingredients I can't use on my face (skin too sensitive). I don't think this actually cleans my face, but it feels great and it's more fun to use than plain water. The cucumber gel is also great. The only other pure aloe product I found was as runny as water. Will definitely buy this again.

Whole Raw Aloe Vera Skin Gel 4 fl. oz. Review

(More customer reviews)I had heard about this gel a few years ago when I was at a natural food store in downtown Manhattan getting herbal tinctures for a cold. I don't know why I didn't buy it at the time. I have had THE most sensitive, angry, irritated and broken out skin ever in my life (of almost always wonderful no-zit skin) for the past year and a half and I have tried literally hundreds of products to heal my face. I had a reaction to every cleanser and moisturizer, expensive, organic, you name it. I was in Whole Foods last night and figured, Why not? I remember when I was with my friend back at that food store who had a few blemishes, the gentleman at the store said this gel cured all kinds of skin conditions quickly....So I put on a generous layer last night before bed. It feels thick when you initially put it on, but once you massage it into your skin it totally absorbs within about 5 minutes and leaves your face moisturized but taut (aloe is the best toner!). It would probably be best to layer another light moisturizer on top if you have dry skin, b/c my concealer didn't really blend well on my face, but at the moment I don't have a moisturizer that doesn't make me react - still searching! In the meantime, I woke up with the blemishes on my face significantly reduced overnight and I would imagine within a week at this rate my face will be totally clear again, which hasn't happened in MONTHS! I am so happy with this purchase that if it does what I think it will, i'm buying the big bottle of it. THANK YOU to the goddess who created this stuff!!!!

(More customer reviews)I have been using this product for over 10 years both my skin and hair. Yes, it works great as hair gel but I don't blow dry my hair afterwards so I'm not sure how it does under heat).
As hair gel, I've been using it almost every day and I highly recommend it.
I like it for:
- Being fragrance free (I have allergies)
- No color added
- No animal testing
- Will not stain
It loses 1 star for it's claim of being "100% PURE ALOE VERA GEL". Ingredients: Aloe vera gel, water, triethanolamine, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), carbomer 940 tetrasoduim EDTA, DMDM hydantoin, diazolidinyl urea .... I'm no rocket scientist but that's NOT 100% pure aloe vera gel.

(More customer reviews)I have used Jason's Aloe Vera daily after shower for over 8 years (I buy it by the case). It is wonderful
I used to use live aloe plants, because nothing is better than pure fresh aloe for moisturizing, and especially for burns of all types, but Jason's comes close, given that the plants I have don't grow fast enough for my regular use :)
But the problem I have with this particular vendor (DAB Nutrition) is their misleading price of $3.21 (for the 16 oz gel). What they don't tell you (unless you call them, as I did today) that there is a per UNIT (not per ORDER) shipping and handling cost of over $6, making the total cost of each 16oz unit over $10
You can definitely buy it cheaper in local health stores, and you can also find it elsewhere online for much less. You should be able to buy a 12 pack online for ~$7 / 16oz unit, fully delivered (just search for vendors with a $4.99 flat rate shipping for any quantity)I hope Amazon gets lower cost (and more "transparent") vendors selling this product

Internally very refreshing, soothing from mouth to stomach. Used externally, the best treatment for sun burn, other minor burns, and dry skin. This is purely Aloe Vera with citrus seed extract and vitamin E for preservation. You have to keep this product in the refrigerator after opening. Which is great because then it is always cold.
Because this is so natural, the product is somewhat liquid and a little goes a long way. The consistency may vary, but the one I received looks just like freshly pressed aloe vera and this could be added to homemade beauty products you are using soon after you make them.
The high absorption of this product is impressive and
there is no sticky feel. You can use it as a cooling
hand moisture treatment and seconds later, all you will notice is your skin plumping slightly and feeling smooth and very soft.

of the aloe vera.
You can find cheaper aloe vera juice, but living aloe vera juice
is a powerhouse healer.
I read that aloe vera is one substance that has the ability to penetrate deeper thru layers of skin / tissue than other substances. This is a good thing. Many things are good for your skin and insides, but aloe
vera has an innate ability to penetrate deeply.
If you are going to spend a bit more for a "best of", this would
be a good one to chose to do just that.
For me personally, it has changed the look and feel of my stomach,
from the inside out. This product has never given me bathroom side effects, if you know what I mean. This is a mis-conception perhaps
because for me this does not happen.
I make herbal ice teas - - all kinds - - and I add some of this product
to that tea. I sweeten with (herbal product) stevia

(More customer reviews)This is a product it would do everyone well to have as a staple in their homes. It offers instant relief from stomach discomfort yet tastes like good spring water. I prefer it chilled and keep some always ready in my fridge. It also works as a topical for cuts or irritations.
Our first experience with the product was after radiation burns when my husband was in treatment. As the saliva glands had been destroyed and he needed to cary a water bottle all the time, we were told about George's Aloe Vera (none other will work as well). This became his saving grace.

I had suguery at 17 and it removed a lot of the problems. But ever since surgery, I have still suffered from diarrhea and constipation. I have only taken George's aloe for about two weeks, and it seems to have drastically improved both. For anyone who has any kind of digestive problem, I would really give it a try.
