This cookbook is packed with genuine Florida Keys recipes including my favorite, "Chardonnay Shrimp." Since most of the recipes come from Keys restaurants, the book also acts as a restaurant guide. Interspersed with old photos and the history of the area, the book gives new meaning to "flavor of the area." A must have for those who love food and the Florida Keys.

Of course, there are more serious situations that are apparent with deadly storms, but there is great information in this book and it is displayed in an easy to read format. I now know that with a little preparation, my family and I can be ahead of the game and eat healthy even when the power is out. I've already used some of these recipes for family gatherings and a camping trip too. I keep it with my cooking books.
